“Dividing Space”

These ten paintings are about finding a way to break down the 2D surface of the canvas that brings a sense of ease. By dividing the space, one is able to see where ‘things belong’ or rather where they inherently reside. I find the joy in discovering where the shapes are hiding in plain sight and which colors are beckoning to be used.
